FFS, they should accept a slightly worse deal and be okay. Adevarul e ca nu doar ca pierd meciuri, bani si timp by not signing the deal, dar ofertele vor fi tot mai proaste o data ce se taie din sezon.
Intr-un moment in care trebuie pur si simplu sa alegi ce e mai bun pentru tine si refuzi cu incapatanare, putem arunca vina de la jucatori la owners ca tot una e.
Din punctul meu de vedere jucatorii ar trebui sa ramana jucatori si sa-si vada interesul ca atare, nu sa aspire peste noapte la titlul de oameni de afaceri. Aia au timp sa faca dupa ce termina de jucat. Derek Fisher se compara pe el si pe restul jucatorilor cu Warren Buffett, aia mi se pare amuzant. You can flame all you want, dar nici jucatorii nu sunt by any means de compatimit. IMO, toata situatia asta s-a nascut dintr-un parvenitism atroce. Daca sportivii ar accepta sa fie doar sportivi extrem de talentati care vor sa fie foarte bine platiti, we could just move on with this shit.

Sa nu uitam ca, desi majoritatea owners se dau probabil mari fani ai free market, numai free market nu e pt jucatori in NBA:
- salariile maxime sunt limitate
- rookie scale
Din nou, sunt pt reducerea duratei maxime a contractelor si pt legarea lor partiala de rezultatele echipei.
Insa nu sunt de acord cu pretentiile owners (hard cap & other shit). Sa faca BRI-ul pe din doua si dupa aia e treaba fiecarei echipe daca e competitiva sau nu. Daca Spurs au reusit sa puna de o mini-dinastie, iar Knicks cu toti banii lor abia miros un playoff la 10 ani, nu e vorba de bani cit de competenta. Ceea ce inseamna ca toata gargara owners e degeaba si ca de fapt isi cauta scuze pt propria incompetenta. De aia sunt 100% impotriva lor (dar doar 50% de partea jucatorilor).

Nu, dar din păcate n-a prea ieșit în față cu calitățile lui de GM. A se citi că e acolo în topul celor mai penali, alături de Isiah. Minny are nevoie de ceva mai bun.
