[Edit Big Sexy]
Sunt in Valhalla wrestlingului

Odihnestete in pace :(

Tocmai am aflat ca a murit frumoasa Miss Elizabeth, cea care ii era sotie, impresar si il insotea in ring pe The Macho Man, Randy Savage. data decesului 01-05-2003.

Deja i inceput sa miroasa a mortaciuni pe aici.

Ray "Big Bossman" Traylor suddenly passed away Wednesday night at his home. He was 42.
Traylor had a very successful run as The Big Bossman in the WWF years ago, and another semi-successful stint with the WWF in the late 90s as a somewhat repackaged Bossman.
His cause of death is a mystery right now. He did not have any known health problems.

Heath Scumm
27th October 2004, 19:06
E incredibil.
Big Sexy
28th October 2004, 21:26

Abia acum am invatat sa ii pretuiesc arta :(

October 6, 1999: Gorilla Monsoon dies of heart failure after a long battle with illness..

David Smith avea doar 39 de ani in 2002 cand a murit.

Ma crezi ca in momentul incare ai scris de el am lacrimat? La naiba, ce urasc chestia asta. Era printre favoritii mei mai ales de cand s-a implicat in lupta dintre IRS si tatanka. IRS in mod incredibil a disparut din istoria wrestlingului desi uneori l-am mai vazut ca lower midcarder (!) in WCW. Brittish Bulldog insa a ramas in istoria wrestlingului si era o legenda adevarata!

@DECRET
No more Neck! ...

Atunci Hogan a zis "Bring that puppet to me!". Sting a inceput sa-i bata pe toti...istorie.
Heath Scumm
16th May 2005, 12:37
Cam asa imi amintesc eu evenimentul!

http://www.onlineworldofwrestling.com/pictures/s/spider/02.jpg
Mesajul e inca o data : "Don't try this at home" ...

Sa retras in 1989,el a fost si ultimu WCW National Champion.
El a murit in 2002,avea diabet,si in urma unor complicati a murit.
Rest in Peace :(

Mie personal imi place wrestlingul Old School,e foarte bun wrestling daca vrei sa il studiezi.Azi totul e spectacol, atunci wrestlingul era o adevarata arta.

Minneapolis World Wrestling Entertainment wrestler Eddie Guerrero was found dead in his hotel room in Minneapolis, the organization said Sunday.
Guerrero, 38, was found at the Marriott City Center in downtown Minneapolis. He was in town for Sunday night's "WWE Supershow" TV taping at Target Center.
Police confirmed Guerrero's death, but are not yet releasing additional information. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner was at the hotel.
Guerrero was a featured star on the UPN series "WWE Smackdown!" and the subject of a full-length DVD titled "Cheating Death, Stealing Life."
Son of legendary Mexican wrestler Gory Guerrero, Eddie Guerrero has also wrestled with World Championship Wrestling and Extreme Championship Wrestling, among other federations. His nephew, Chavo Guerrero, Jr., also wrestles with WWE.
Stay with WCCO.COM for more information as it becomes available.

TNA JOINS THE WRESTLING WORLD IN MOURNING THE PASSING OF EDDIE GUERRERO
On Sunday morning, TNA joined the wrestling world in learning of the unfortunate and untimely passing of Eddie Guerrero.
The mood backstage in Orlando is solemn, as many TNA staff and stars were close with Eddie and worked with him throughout his career.
Everyone in TNA will keep Eddie and his family in our thoughts and prayers in the days and weeks to come as we say goodbye to a friend...

Eddie Guerrero was found this morning with his toothbrush in his mouth on the bathroom floor. He apparently died while brushing his teeth. The belief among those within WWE is that he had a heart failure. PWTorch.com reports that shortly after Guerrero's body was removed from the room, Chris Benoit, Rey Mysterio, Dean Malenko and Chavo Guerrero all visited the hotel room to say their final goodbyes. Many WWE staffers were visibly shaken by this as they left the hotel and headed for the arena.

Eddie i-a preluat in semn de respect finisherul : The Frog Splash.

Vickie Guerrero speaks on Eddie's autopsy report
Nov. 15, 2005
After the untimely passing of Eddie Guerrero, WWE and the entire sports-entertainment community is still reeling from the devastating loss of a champion. The initial autopsy reports on Guerrero have come in. WWE.com spoke with Eddie’s widow, Vickie Guerrero, earlier today.
“It was heart failure. It was from his past – the drinking and the drug abuse. They found signs of heart disease. She (the examiner) said that the blood vessels were very worn and narrow, and that just showed all the abuse from the scheduling of work and his past. And Eddie just worked out like crazy all the time. It made his heart grow bigger and work harder and the vessels were getting smaller, and that’s what caused the heart failure. He went into a deep sleep.
As soon as they saw his heart, they saw the lining of his heart already had the heart disease. There was no trauma, and Eddie hadn’t hurt himself in any way. It answered a lot of questions. I knew Eddie wasn’t feeling very good for the last week. He was home and kept saying he wasn’t feeling good and we thought it was just “road tired.” So we thought he just had to rest. It answered a lot of my questions, too, because he was just so exhausted. She said it was normal because the heart was working so hard.
When he didn’t call me last night and the night before I knew it was for real, because he would call me every night. I miss his phone calls. I cried through the whole thing (last night).
I loved his laugh. His laugh was the best.
We just celebrated his four-year sobriety last Thursday. We just thought we had life by the handful. We thought we had it all figured out. He worked so hard to make a better life for us.
I’m just overwhelmed by how people are coming out. It’s touched my heart a lot.
Everybody was just in awe last night in how beautifully everything was put together.
All my life was wrestling. All he did was take care of them and live for that. And I don’t know what to do now.”

Andrew "Test" Martin posted the following message on his official website AndrewTestMartin.com.
Nov 14
I've been up all night and haven't realy slept as everyone knows by know Eddie Guerrero has passed away. Everybody knows Eddie had his demons but he had been clean for a long time, it was way to soon for him to go and he leaves behind to beautifull young daughters and a wonderfull life my heart goes out to them. Eddie was a huge help to me he helped me progress in the ring and we even wrestles ar wrestlemania in houston in 2001 for the european championship. Eddie i pray you are in a better place and THANKYOU for everything you taught me. Now instead of usually talking about what I'm up to I'm going to break down the reality of this business we call wrestling. When I say "who's next" I'm not coining Goldbergs line I'm actually wondering who's next? who's next to die? I can think of at least 15 to 20 people who have died from various things mostly prescription pain killers. For all you wanna be wrestlers who wanna get in this business..escpecially now when wwe doesn't pay you anymore than you would make at a 9 to 5 job let me break some things down for you. When I started wrestling I had never seen or heard of vicodin or percocet or soma. How come so many wrestlers die from these medications and football players and hockey players don't? The answer is simple..wrestlers especially wwe wrestlers work 5 days a week all year long taking bump after bump in the ring, a doctor explained it to me like this..everytime you take a fall in the ring it's like gettin rear ended by a car going 20mph so how many bumps in the ring a night do you take? multiply that by how many times a week you work all year long..that's a hell of a lot of whiplash and pain. I can remember hearing a conversation from some unamed wwe head guys talking about how this certain person needs to go to rehab but they couldnt send him because he was to important to the show..that's the reality people thta is how we are treated...look at me I break my neck in the ring had to have 2 discs taken out of my neck and a steel plate put in and was told at the time by Johny Ace in his exact words were when I asked if my job would be in jeopardy he said "we don't fire people with injuries like that" Hmm that's funny cause 2 months after surgery I got fired because I wasn't working my 7 years of busting my ass for them and putting over the bosses son while my foot was broken in a cast was all forgotten about. I remember when I was bein trained by Bret and I met Bad News Allen he said this to me and I'll never forget it "all wrestlers are to Vince are puppets and when he is done playing with you he throws you away but sometimes he'll dust you off bring you back and play with you some more" That is the truth people...when Johny Ace called me and told me they were releasing me which of course he put all the heat on Vince...I said to him what kind of message are you sending the boys that if they get hurt they are going to get fired? So all the guys who don't want to lose their jobs what do they do...popp a couple of percocet or vicodin and mask the pain cause god forbid they say they are hurt and lose their job...I'm not going to name any names but I know at least a dozen or so wrestlers who are addicted to these things for that very reason...get hurt lose your job...I just turned 30 my back aches everyday, I have a metal plate in my neck and yes I got in the business at the right time and have a lot of nice things but is it all worth it? you guys don't see the ugly side of this business..yes wrestling is entertainment but the bumps and bruises are real and sometimes they don't go away...so think long and hard before you get in this business cause I can tell you first hand that if your not working or making them money they don't give a sh*t about you....and the sad part is Eddie was clean and I guarantee he won't be the last one to die in the next 12 months..so that's why i say who's next? Don't take your life for granted it's a gift..don't go to bed mad and tell the people you care about you love them because you never know....take care

*HitScum face o plecaciune!

"Wrestling star Eddie Guerrero died of natural causes related to heart disease, said the Hennepin County Medical Examiner Thursday.
The medical examiner's office said Guerrero, who was found dead in his hotel room on November 13, died of "natural causes related to arteriosclerotic heart disease." That term is synonymous with coronary heart disease, a narrowing of the blood vessels that supply blood and oxygen to the heart.
The coroner's did not address what led to the heart trouble, although the wrestler's wife, Vickie Guerrero, said last month on WWE.com's website that his past substance abuse and aggressive workout regimen caused the heart disease. "

crec cea mai controversata moarte din wrestling (pe langa cea a lui owen) este cea a lui bruiser brody care a fost injunghiat in vestiar, fiind la un meci in puerto rico.ucigasul era un coleg wrestler si promoter care a fost judecat dar a iesit basma curata deoarece sigurul martor (tony atlas daca nu ma insel) a refuzat sa depuna marturie din cauza amenintarilor.dupa acest incident,in semn de protest si nu numai, wrestlerii americani nu am mai luptat in puerto rico.google for more

Samoa Joe on Hashimoto :
Arigato Hakaio.
..
Yet another.
I won't mince words and say that in my recent days that I have been fan of things that have occurred when the name Shinya Hasimoto is mentioned, but I always have respected the man.
When the news of Hashimoto's passing reached me through several phonecalls through out the night, I found myself moved far more than even I would have expected. As of right now I am typing this entry from a hotel lobby in rural Weatherford Oklahoma broken down during a cross country drive taking myself and helping move my significant other back to California.
I sat in the parking lot last night and for the 1st time in a long time I thought back to my days with ZERO ONE and all of my experiences with Hashimoto. When I took the time to really recall these moments I realized what a dramatic impact he had made in my life and my career.
When I 1st started in Japan my knowledge of Hashimoto was limited albeit somewhat educated. It was only when I began to wrestle across the ring from the man that I truly realized what it meant to be a star. Hashimotos ambiance did not lie in a flashy gimmickry, trend setting re-invention or the intangible coolness, of his musketeer brethren. Hashimoto had foregone the pomp and circumstance of wrestling and simply sought to be the embodiment of an ideal. The ideal that was the founding principle of the dojo that produced him which was derived from the centuries old warrior customs of his culture. Hashimoto embodied Toukon, The Fighting Spirit.
Once at a preliminary training session, Hashimoto had quizzed a group of relatively clueless gaijin about the most important aspect of Professional Wrestling. Answers sprung forth pleading a case for "Technique" and "Psychology", but Hashimoto simply pointed at his eyes and said "The Fire". The fire, the burning spirit, the unyielding will, even in the face of insurmountable challenges. With a simple gesture and the most intense stare I had ever seen I understood all these things that I have just listed and nodded in compliance.
Hashimoto's popularity was no accident as he represented the very essence of the much vaunted Samurais of old. He was a single ideal, by any means necessary, no questions asked, decisiveness personified. Enter the ring and destroy the opposition that is in front of you. Hakaio.
In his simplicity you could find his brilliance and the basis for his astounding charisma.
Outside of the ring Hashimoto was the polar opposite. Kind, gentle, and always ready to crack a joke or hear one, he enjoyed life and was always easy to smile. If you had never seen him in the ring you would guess him to be a late night variety talk show host complete with staged breakfalls and wacky accenting sound effects to enhance his often jovial demeanor. In my time spent in Japan with Hashimoto he was also generous. I remember one night I was sulking around the ZERO ONE offices harrassing boss Nakamura to hurry up and finish working so we could go out drinking and watching Samurai TV. Hashimoto came in to do some late night work in his office and he was astounded to find me sitting in the office bullpen pitching in and counting out tickets just to pass the time. He tried to express his gratitude as best he could in his limited english but I assured him that it was ok and I was more than happy to oblige.
The next week Hashimoto had caught wind that I was going out on a date. Remembering my very mild efforts the week before, he assigned his car and driver to me and paid for my evening in full. It was a gesture often unheard of in most workplaces but it is a gesture that will always be endeared to me. Also his words before I started my night
"Joe-san, tonight no fire in eyes, Tonight eyes clear. I teach you too much".
I nodded in agreement and made my way to the door. As I approached the office bullpen packed to the brim with busy employees his voice stopped me again
"Joe-SAN!"
Hai Hashimoto-san!" I replied
"If tonight you feel fire in your pants, please go to hospital!"
The office erupted in delayed laughter as the english speaking employees quickly explained to the others in between gasping chuckles. I turned around and faced the red visaged hysterical Hashimoto and bowed deeply
HAI HASHIMOTO-SAMA! Mochiron!
God bless you Hashi, Find happiness.
S. Joe

As you all know by now, Shinya Hashimoto was pronounced dead at approximately 10:36 AM JST this morning from a brain hemorrhage at Yokohama University Hospital but he had already died in the ambulance en route to the hospital. Hashimoto’s funeral will take place on 7/15 in Kuboyama and there would be a memorial service in Yokohama on 7/16. Hashimoto’s sister Masanari said that Hashimoto was complaining last week about chest pains and that he thought his heart was beating too fast but he wouldn’t go see the doctors.
Hashimoto had a heart problem last year and was put on medicine but had to come off when he had his shoulder surgery. Hashimoto’s doctor said today that high blood pressure was the most likely cause for his brain hemorrhage and that other stress over the years has caused these problems which for someone his age shouldn’t be happening.
Antonio Inoki stated today that a death so sudden as Hashimoto’s is the most shocking kind of death and leaves you wondering how and when your life will end. Inoki said that he is at a loss for words but that Hashimoto’s family is in his prayers.
Atsushi Onita stated today that he is very depressed over hearing the news of Hashimoto’s death and said that pro wrestling in Japan won’t be the same without him.
Dick Togo stated in his blog that he was very shocked at hearing of the death of Hashimoto and was anticipating his comeback this year regretting that it will now never happen and sent his prayers to the family.
Ebetaro said that he heard of Hashimoto’s death via the telephone and still couldn’t believe it even seeing it announced on television. Ebetaro sent his prayers to the family and hoped that he would be forever be remembered as one of the toughest men to compete in the business.
Hayabusa expressed his shock over Hashimoto’s death in his blog today and basically had no words for now but just wished the best for his family & friends.
Hiromitsu Kanehara also expressed his disbelief over the death of Hashimoto in his blog today saying that he can’t believe a person as young as Hashimoto could die the way he did and sent his prayers to the family.
Kazuyuki Fujita expressed his shock over the news of Hashimoto’s death saying that how could a man die so young and that Hashimoto was someone he always looked up to because he always handled himself professionally. Fujita said that Hashimoto looked after him when he was a young lion and that he was a tremendous teacher, which makes the news of his death even harder to take.
Keiji Muto was told of Hashimoto’s death at a public appearance in Tokyo and had to leave due to his shock over the news with no comment given to the press.
Kensuke Sasaki posted his complete shock and lack of words in his blog today and wished it was all a lie but knows it isn’t and sent his prayers to the family.
Masahiro Chono expressed his deep sympathy over the death of Hashimoto who was one of his best friends and that he went to Yokohama University Hospital to confirm the news he heard of his death and was sent to the funeral home where he met with the family. Chono said that Hashimoto was what pro wrestling was all about and had all the qualities that he wished he had saying that he was always happy and enjoyed life to the fullest. Chono said that the 3 Muskateers were going to reunite this year and were going to blow up the current pro wrestling scene in Japan but sadly that won’t happen. Chono said that he last saw Hashimoto in April and he was in good spirits but was ready to return to the ring but had to wait until his shoulder was completely healed before his return. Chono then said that he would dedicate the rest of his career to his fallen friend. There were rumors going around that Hashimoto was going to appear at All-Japan’s show on 7/26 at Yoyogi National Gym #2 for a 3 Muskateers reunion with Chono & Keiji Muto.
MIKAMI recounted in his blog about the first time he met Hashimoto and how he was in awe of his size & presence and how he was a big fan of him as a kid. MIKAMI said that the business will miss a person like Hashimoto and sent his prayers to the family.
Naoya Ogawa spoke about the death of Shinya Hashimoto today saying that he was one of the best friends he has ever had in his life and was just in total shock over the way he died. Ogawa said that he couldn’t believe that he died when he got the call on his cell phone and was going to go to Hashimoto’s house himself but he decided to return back to Tokyo although he said that he won’t fully believed he died till until he sees the body himself. Ogawa said that he last met with Hashimoto in Sapporo in May and said that Hashimoto was in good spirits as he was waiting to make his comeback in the very near future. Ogawa had said that he was trying to get in touch with him about coming to the HUSTLE shows last week but he never got a chance to talk to him directly and left messages on his answering machine. Ogawa said that without Hashimoto, he would be nothing in the wrestling business as his feud with him made him the star he has become and that he enjoyed his partnership with him more than anything else in his professional career. Ogawa said that there is a void in his life right now that will probably never be filled and that he would dedicate the rest of his career to the memory of his friend.
New Japan President Simon Kelly Inoki said that words were tough to come to his mind when hearing of Hashimoto’s death but he had a visual in his head of Hashimoto’s smiling face after his big matches and sent his prayers to the family.
PRIDE President Nobuyuki Sakakibara also expressed his shock over the loss of Hashimoto as he along with Hashimoto & Ogawa came up with the popular HUSTLE concept. Sakakibara was hoping that Hashimoto would return to HUSTLE once his shoulder fully recovered and admitted that HUSTLE hasn’t been the same since Hashimoto left but now that he is gone, the concept would have to live on dedicated to his memory. Sakakibara said that Hashimoto would want us to go on and that they would do so in his honor.
Ricky Fuji expressed his sorrows over the death of Hashimoto in his blog today recollecting the time he spent working with Hashimoto in the New Japan Dojo during the late 80’s and time spent in Calgary in 1989 and sent his condolences to Hashimoto’s family.
Seiji Sakaguchi just couldn’t believe that his former attendant had died when he heard the news today saying that how could he die before me. Sakaguchi said that Hashimoto was like a son to him and said that Hashimoto’s wedding ceremony was one of the happiest days of his life and this is just a tragedy.
Tatsutoshi Goto along with Takashi Iizuka & Jushin Thunder Liger left the New Japan Dojo as soon as they heard the news of Hashimoto’s death and went to the funeral home where his body is being held at where they were met by Tadao Yasuda and they all sent their prayers to the family.
Yoshihiro Takayama expressed his shock today over learning from Hashimoto’s death before giving a lecture to a university in Tokyo and said that it is a truly sad day. Takayama said that he has had cerebral problems as well over the years and has beaten death a couple of times but it makes him sad that Hashimoto couldn’t do the same. Takayama said that he was hoping that when he returned to the ring that he would’ve had a singles match against Hashimoto, which was a dream of his, but that dream will never be realized now.
ZERO-ONE MAX President Yoshiyuki Nakamura expressed his disbelief and sadness over Hashimoto’s death and said that ZERO-ONE MAX would make an official announcement soon about the situation. Nakamura did say though that the phone lines at the Z1 home offices were pretty much blown out from the amount of calls over the news of Hashimoto’s death.

Informatii folositoare, Double J! Interesant!

Mark Henry's Poem
Mark Henry had a very moving poem on Monday Night, one that I'll never forget. And it goes like this........
You feel the burn when you cry
It starts to come when someone dies
The pain you feel as your eyes swell and the tears will up in the wells
The burn starts to choke you up the words come out slow and shaken
You close your eyes and wonder why
There is a burn when you cry
When Owen left it felt like hands around my throat
I couldn't talk I couldn't see
The Burn over whelmed me
My heart is heavy this is why
You get the burn when you cry
It digs down deep you can not sleep
You toss and turn in your sheets
Awaken with sobs and wet pillow cases
You wander aimlessly looking to the sky
You feel the burn when you cry
- Mark Henry, Monday May 24th, 1999
Hart Family Settles with WWF
KANSAS CITY, Missouri - The family of professional wrestler Owen Hart, who died last year in a stunt gone awry at Kemper Arena, has agreed to settle its wrongful death lawsuit against the World Wrestling Federation, the city of Kansas City and other defendants for an undisclosed sum.
The settlement, which needs court approval before it becomes final, was disclosed in a motion filed by the parties late Friday afternoon with the Missouri Court of Appeals.
The appeals court was scheduled to hear oral arguments today on the WWF's allegation that the plaintiffs' lawyers had sought to influence witness testimony by promising Hart's siblings a share of any damage award in the case. The motion filed on Friday asked the court to continue or suspend the arguments pending approval of the settlement.
The 34-year-old Hart, known to WWF fans as the Blue Blazer, plunged 78 feet to his death on May 23, 1999, when the quick-release mechanism on his harness opened prematurely as he was being lowered into the ring. The wrestling event was televised live on pay-per-view cable television and was seen around the country.
Three weeks after the accident, Hart's widow, two minor children and parents sued the WWF, Kansas City and other defendants in Jackson County Circuit Court. The 46-count complaint alleged that the stunt was dangerous and poorly planned and that the harness system was defective.
The lawsuit sought unspecified damages.
In response to questions from The Kansas City Star, lawyers for the WWF and the Hart family issued a joint statement Monday saying that the WWF and the Harts "have come to an amicable agreement satisfactory to the parties, and the WWF will now continue the case against the entities which manufactured and sold the stunt equipment involved.
"We are awaiting the court's approval of the settlement, which is expected next week. The terms and conditions of the settlement otherwise speak for themselves."
A WWF attorney, Jerry McDevitt, said, "For the time being, we have agreed to limit our public comment to stating that an agreement has been reached, subject to court approval."
Although the lawyers declined to comment on the settlement's terms, a source close to the settlement negotiations said the WWF has agreed to pay the Hart family $18 million.
Under the settlement, the city -- and taxpayers -- are probably off the hook. The WWF's insurance contracts contain provisions calling for the city to be reimbursed if the city is found liable. Kansas City owns Kemper Arena.
Among other provisions, the settlement requires the Hart family to dismiss their petition before the Missouri Court of Appeals. That petition asked the court to order the WWF to return a disputed document to the Hart family and to bar the WWF from asking witnesses about it.
The Hart family's lawyers, the husband-and-wife team of Gary and Anita Robb, claimed the document was protected by attorney-client privilege and was wrongfully obtained by the WWF. The WWF said the document was an illegal attempt to tamper with witness testimony.
The Robbs asked Hart's 10 siblings to sign the document, but rescinded it after the WWF learned of its existence.
The document called for the siblings to share in any verdict awarded to Hart's parents if the siblings cooperated with the plaintiffs. It further provided that those siblings who cooperated with the WWF would not share in any damage award.
Under Missouri's wrongful death statute, the siblings can't be parties to the case as long as Hart's spouse, children or parents survive him. Because the siblings might have been witnesses in the case, the WWF contended the document was an attempt to buy their favorable testimony.
The siblings were in a position to testify on the issue of how many more years Hart intended to wrestle, which would have gone to the question of his lost earnings.
The Robbs insisted the document was nothing more than an effort to preserve family unity in the face of what they said were the WWF's attempts to negotiate a quick and cheap settlement with Hart's parents.
The squabble over the document threatened to divert attention from the underlying wrongful death lawsuit, which, besides the WWF and Kansas City, named 11 other defendants, including WWF Chairman Vince McMahon, the companies that manufactured or sold the harness system and the four riggers who set up the fatal stunt.
The lawsuit was filed by Hart's widow, Martha Hart; the Harts' two children, then ages 7 and 3; and Hart's parents, Stu and Helen Hart. All of the Hart family members live in Calgary, Alberta.
The settlement, if approved, would not end the litigation surrounding Hart's death. By saying that it will "continue the case" against the manufacturers and sellers of the rigging device, the WWF has signaled its intention to sue the companies.

Eddie a căzut victimă anabolizantelor.

Former ECW World champion and Wrestlemania main event Scott "Bam Bam" Bigelow was found dead in his Hudson, Florida home this morning. An investigation into his passing is currently ongoing by local authorities.
Bigelow broke into the business in the 1980s, training at New Jersey's Monster Factor under Larry Sharpe, often using the name Crusher Yurkof early in his career.
Bigelow began working the Memphis territory before having a hot run as a babyface in the then-World Wrestling Federation, managed by Oliver Humperdink. He appeared to be readymade for an eventual heel turn and feud with then-WWF champion Hulk Hogan, but it never came to pass.
After knee surgery, Bigelow went on to work for the Jim Crockett Promotions in the late 1980s including a memorable feud with Barry Windham over the United States championship.
Bigelow returned to the WWF as a heel member of Ted DiBiase's Million Dollar Corporation, headlining Wrestlemania 11 against New York Giant great Lawrence Taylor in Hartford, CT. The match closed the show (following Shawn Michaels vs. Kevin Nash) and Bigelow was given credit for carrying Taylor through an entertaining bout. A babyface turn followed, and Bigelow later left the company.
Bigelow had a long run in Extreme Championship Wrestling, feuding with Shane Douglas over the ECW World championship and Tazz over the ECW World Television championship, both belts Bigelow held in the company. As a member of the Triple Threat, Bigelow was paired with Douglas and the late Chris Candido.
In one of the most memorable moments ever on ECW PPV, Bigelow and Tazz crashed through the ring during Living Dangerously '98 in Bigelow's hometown of Asbury Park, NJ. Tazz was attempting to lock his finisher, The Tazzmission on Bigelow, who leaped backwards to escape. Both went through the ring to the floor below. Bigelow emerged first, pulling the unconscious Tazz back up to the ring, pinning him for the title.
Bigelow also took part in another ECW moment that has been repeated over and over, launching Matt "Spike Dudley" Hyson into the crowd from the ring, where Hyson was later bodysurfed by ringside fans. Bigelow added a great deal to the ECW product during that time period, feuding with and putting over ECW homegrown talents including Hyson and Rob Van Dam, giving those talents the rub of defeating a well-known international star.
Citing money issues, Bigelow later jumped to World Championship Wrestling as a surprise, challenging Bill Goldberg in an angle on Monday Nitro. Bigelow later settled into a unit with Chris Kanyon and Diamond Dallas Page.
In recent years, Bigelow had worked the independent scene before moving down to Florida. At one point, he announced retirement, but later returned. He owned a deli for a time in Pennsylvania before quietly closing it down, leaving the wrestling business and moving South to the Sunshine State.
He returned to the public eye after crashing a motorcycle he was riding with his girlfriend, who was seriously injured in the crash. Charges were later filed in the incident by authorities, but there was never any conclusive end to the case.
Bigelow appeared at one Florida autograph signing shortly after the crash, believed to be his last public appearance.
The St. Petersburg Times in Florida interviewed Bigelow some time after the incident, with Bigelow discussing the crash, his decision to leave wrestling, and other personal problems that plagued him as his career wound down.
Bigelow commented on his troubles and the physical issues a lifetime of professional wrestling has brought him, stating, "I don't know if it's hiding or disappointment or what, but being Bam Bam Bigelow is a pain in the a--. You did this the first half of your life and now this is the second half and now you're bruised and battered. So what the hell can you do? What can you do?"
We like to issue our condolences to the family, friends, and fans of Scott "Bam Bam" Bigelow.

Mike Awesome ... found dead .
From WON :
''Mike Alfonso, better known as Mike Awesome, was found dead on Saturday evening in the Tampa area according to those close to the family. He was 42.
Friends were coming to his home in Tampa to pick him up and go out Saturday night at about 10:30 p.m. and he never answered the door and found him hanging in the home. It is believed the death was due to suicide pending results of the autopsy.
Mike Awesome was one of the top foreign stars in FMW in Japan, who as a high-flying big man was made ECW champion on two occasions in 1999 and 2000. As champion, he signed with WCW, creating a situation that many feel ended up killing the title as Tazz from WWF was brought back to ECW to win the title, yet at the same time the title was jobbed in WWF.
He worked for a few months with WWF after the collapse of WCW, as well as with All Japan, but had not wrestled in some time. He was working as a realtor at Coldwell Banker at the time of his death.''

"Bad News Allen was one of those four or five wrestlers who I considered to be the hardest men in wrestling," Tom 'Dynamite Kid' Billington wrote in his autobiography. "He was definitely bad news. Don't get me wrong, he was a good friend, but once he got you in the ring, it was as if he didn't know you.

RIP Nancy "Woman" Daus
Nancy Elizabeth Daus Sullivan Benoit (May 21, 1964 - c. June, 2007) (more commonly known by her in-ring names as Woman and Fallen Angel) was a professional wrestling valet and manager in Jim Crockett Promotions, Extreme Championship Wrestling and World Championship Wrestling.
http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p307/joeykaos/Womangroup1.jpg
Career
Early days
When George Napolitano needed a beautiful young girl for the cover of the June 1984 edition of the pro-wrestling magazine Wrestling All Stars fellow photographer Bill Otten suggested the young Nancy Daus for the role. Nancy, who had worked as a model, often sat alongside her then-husband Jim to watch matches and was no newcomer to being involved with professional wrestling. Nancy, who had been selling programs at the Orlando shows, also appeared as "Para" in the old "Apartment Wrestling" features. It was on this shoot where she met Kevin Sullivan who became enamored with her. Sullivan eventually wanted her to be a part of his wrestling entourage, and after months of convincing, Nancy finally became an on-air valet, taking the name Fallen Angel. She made her in-ring debut on July 7, 1984 at the Lakeland Civic Center in Lakeland, Florida for Florida Championship Wrestling.
She became a part of Kevin Sullivan's stable of "Satanists", which also included wrestlers Luna Vachon, The Purple Haze, and Sir Oliver Humperdink. Nancy and Kevin Sullivan traveled throughout the United States using the "Satanist" gimmick for promotions such as Angelo Savoldi's ICW and Southwest Championship Wrestling. The two married in 1985.
National Wrestling Alliance
In 1989, Nancy appeared in the NWA's Jim Crockett Promotions as Robin Green, Rick Steiner's biggest fan who sat at ringside cheering him on during matches. Eventually she talked Rick into letting her actually stand at ringside with Missy Hyatt during a tag-team match with brother Scott against the Fabulous Freebirds, Michael Hayes and Jimmy Garvin. Nancy caused the Steiners to lose the match and soon left Rick to manage the masked team of Doom (Ron Simmons and Butch Reed). During this time she also changed her name to Woman. The Steiner Brothers and Doom went on to feud, with the Steiners still seeking revenge on Woman. In response, she acquired a bodyguard known as Nitron to protect her from them.
In 1990, Ric Flair and his Four Horsemen soon caught her wandering eye and she dumped Nitron and Doom to manage Flair. She fit in well with the "dirtiest player in the game", interfering in his matches and helping him keep his NWA World Title. She left the NWA by after the Capitol Combat '90 pay-per-view however.
She later rejoined her husband Kevin in smaller promotions, mainly running out of the Northeast.
Extreme Championship Wrestling
In 1993, Kevin and Nancy surfaced in the fledgling ECW, where - once again called simply Woman - she managed Sullivan and The Tazmaniac to the ECW Tag Team Championships. When Kevin resought the greener pastures of WCW, Nancy remained in ECW, going on to manage Sandman and 2 Cold Scorpio. She captivated the crowd as, once again, she almost seamlessly reinvented herself to fit with The Sandman's gimmick - opening his beers, lighting his cigarettes, and destroying his opponents with her own kendo stick.
World Championship Wrestling
After being unceremoniously dumped by Sandman and Scorpio in ECW, she once again resurfaced in WCW, first appearing on the January 29, 1996 edition of WCW Monday Nitro as one of many women who stood in the aisle and waved as Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage came to the ring. She stayed at ringside, but she soon turned on Savage and rejoined Flair, Arn Anderson and Chris Benoit in the then-current incarnation of the Four Horsemen. Miss Elizabeth also managed the stable.
In 1996, the Horsemen added Steve McMichael and his wife Debra, which didn't sit well with Woman. The two began bickering and not getting along in general. At the same time, she started an on-screen relationship with Benoit, rubbing it in Sullivan's face. As fate would have it, this on-screen relationship developed into a real affair off-screen. This resulted in a violent feud between Benoit and Sullivan that saw Woman clashing with Sullivan's then-valet Jacquelyn at ringside. In one match, the two ladies were strapped together, took shots at each other, and used the strap connecting them as a weapon against the men.
Sullivan and Nancy (off-screen) divorced in 1997, and (on-screen) Sullivan lost a retirement match to Benoit. It is often joked that 'Kevin Sullivan booked his own divorce'. Sullivan's intent was to retire from in-ring action and focus on booking. As a booker, Sullivan caused Nancy to (off-screen) quit wrestling when she refused to be topless in an angle Sullivan created for a PPV.
Nancy and Benoit became engaged in 1997, although Benoit didn't start referring to Nancy as his wife until shortly before the birth of their son Daniel in 2000 (on his former official website, Nancy was referred to as his fiancee). Although she was never an on-air performer, she did actively manage her husband's career from their home in Atlanta.

E persoana care a adus practic 450 Splash-ul in State chiar daca Juvi Guerrero a facut aceasta manevra faimoasa in WCW.

Din cate stiu eu WWE are ritmul infernal.

''"God of Wrestling" passes away today
by Dave Meltzer
Karl Charles Istaz, known internationally as Karl Gotch, passed away at 9:45 p.m. Eastern time tonight. He was a few days shy of 83 years old.
A former place-winner in the 1948 Olympics in London, Istaz went to the famed Wigan school where he learned submission wrestling. He migrated to the U.S. where he had a reputation in some circles as the toughest man alive.
He ended up becoming a legend in Japan, where he was eventually nicknamed "The God of Professional Wrestling." He was the trainer for New Japan Pro Wrestling and later the original UWF, and his influence in students like Akira Maeda and Nobuhiko Takada led to the rise of shootfighting and eventually MMA in that country.''
S-a stins o adevarata legenda in pro wrestling :(

Tot spargea cate un ananas in fiecare promo...trademark move-ul lui era identic, numai ca in loc de ananas era capul unui wrestler. In cazul ala era Doink. :D

WWE.com has announced the passing of WWE Hall of Famer, The Fabulous Moolah. Apparently Moolah passed away last night sometime. On behalf of everyone here at the site, our condolences go out to the family of Moolah. She had the longest WWE Women's Championship reign in history(10,170 days), and she was one of the legends "killed" by the current WWE Champion Randy Orton.
No cause of death has been confirmed yet, but WWE should release more details soon. It's beleived Moolah was 74.

WWE is saddened by the passing of Lillian Ellison, who was known to sports-entertainment fans as Hall of Famer Fabulous Moolah. She passed away last night in Columbia, S.C.
In the world of women’s wrestling, there will always be one irrefutable legend that stands head and shoulders above the rest: The Fabulous Moolah. She was the longest reigning champion in the history of her chosen sport, or any sport for that matter. And with more than 50 years in the business to her credit, she established a legacy that will never be forgotten, making her name synonymous with female wrestling.

Former WWE Superstar Andrew “Test” Martin passed away last night at his home in Tampa, Florida at the age of 33, just four days away form his 34th birthday. We don’t have many more details right now, but reports say he was found in his apartment. Tampa area authorities have declined to confirm it is Martin but word within the wrestling industry has been widespread.
Martin was suspended under the WWE Wellness Policy back in 2007 and shortly released from his contract. Martin made a few appearances for TNA that year and talked about retiring from the business but has made several appearances overseas since then, working a match in Japan last month. Martin was scheduled to leave this for a wrestling tour of Europe.
We will keep you updated with more details as they come in. Our deepest condolences go out to Martin’s friends and family.
