There wasn't too much loss in terms of quality when I converted from avi to wmv because the avi wasn't that great to begin with.

Maybe. Its not the quality, but my DVD Player reads no .wmv. And i never!! look wrestling on PC, so i have to convert. But maybe the programm is not to good, some things from the forum which i converted you couldnt look because the quality was so bad after converting.
