View Full Version : Kennedy - Out For 5-7 Months
The reason that WWE had Edge beat Mr. Kennedy for the Money in the Bank Title Shot tonight on RAW was because Kennedy suffered a tricep tear over the weekend at the WWE show in Poughkeepsie, New York.
He will have surgery soon and be out somewhere between five and seven months.

After Undertaker's injury , now is Kennedy who needs an operation ... Rey will return at SummerSlam ....
I think Smackdown is running out of fuel , because now , only Batista can retain the World Heavyweight Championship , and there is no #1 contender for his title ... So what do you say about this roaster problem of Smackdown ?

maybe...vince should bring wrestlers from indiez or raw to balance SD
If Vince brings Jack Evans from ROH to SD It will be a great shock for the WWE's ratings

Well, this is what people seem to believe. In case you missed it, Edge got the MITB from Kennedy last night and it seems he'll cash it in today at SD tapings.

which is not a bad thing at all.. Edge was entertaining as champ and a Batista vs Edge feud will be good..

Yeah, Edge will be for the 1st time World Heavyweight Champion, he deserve it :)
@ cutuma : No , I also got that spoiler , but I was a little bit surprised by the decision of moving Edge , who is the best heel , from RAW to SD ... Anyway , a feud between Batista and Edge will be a good move by WWE ...

I thought wrestling was fake :D
Now seriously, all these injuries really pi__ me off. Why can't this happen to wrestlers with no skills?? I hope Cena will be next. Mr Kennedy didn't deserve this, his time was now :).He's a charismatic and talented wrestler. Though, it seems that the bookers had planned to make him cash his opportunity early, 'cause else he would still have his suitcase and title match at WM 24. Anyway, even if Kennedy got injured, I wouldn't have taken his suitcase to give it to Edge, because Kennedy will recover until WM 24. Now don't get me wrong, I like Edge too, but it's time to let others in front. SD! is going down hill right now...

To me, Edge moving to SmackDown would be great given the circumstances. SD will still be by far the best weekly wrestling show.

I didn't watch WWE anymore! But Kennedy was ok! So, I'm sorry to see this news!
I hope Batista will be the next! I hope he will break his little finger from the left leg! :)

Are you kidding ? Nobody deserves an injury... Mr. McMahon(i hope his brain recovers from injury) could just make some Batista vs. Mark Henry matches to keep him in the midcard... Anyway... these injuries are unexpected and break the monotony in the WWE. Whit a litte bit o luck they can even become better than TNA again(low possibility given the fact that RVD and Ricky Banderas are expected to come in the impact zone) :drak:.

Please, can someone tell me? How can WWE wrestlers get injured like that? It's not like they're doing death defying moves or anything like that. What is the reason for all of this happening? How could you get injured when doing moves like a Spinebuster it's beyond my power of understanding.
It's either the full schedule of the WWE with all of the house shows and their bodies are so broken or maybe wrestlers are just to pumped on steroids and all sorts of artificial stuff that they just tear up muscles and hit bones.
Also, there is the most plausible explination, the wrestlers are just complacent, lazy and clumsy and they are more focused on the attention they get from the crowd rather than focusing on the actual moves!
^ Or another explanation would be that the steroids weren't all right ... Maybe the steroids were expired ... Maybe that is the problem !

Because they don't have good physical preparation, and some of them are just too overworked ...

now i will watch Smackdown again.. I wonder who will be his first opponent for WHC because Batista is busy with Mark Henry, Benoit is busy with MVP, Taker, Kennedy, BookerT, Rey are injured.. it remains only Finlay, Kane and Matt Hardy..
^ Or ,it maybe Randy Orton who may move as well in SD and have a feud with Edge ... I think a feud between Edge and Orton for the WHC will be brilliant ... I hope that will happen next

This bullshit, stupid accidents happend all the time, you know how i have fucked up my ankle so please gimme a break. You are just blinded with hatred towards WWE. The main reason they do not put a good athletic performance in the ring is because they cannot afford to be injured. Look at the havok created by the injuries these days (and in the last months and i mean Rey and HHH). Before claiming those things think about the product and what they really are and try to think $$$. :drak:

MR. KENNEDY MIGHT RECOVER SOON
Edge may not want to get too comfortable wearing the World Heavyweight Championship around his Rated-R waist. WWE.com has received word that the initial prognosis for Mr. Kennedy’s arm injury was overstated. Based on Kennedy’s extensive MRI at the Birmingham, Ala. offices of Dr. James Andrews, WWE’s Dr. Ferdinand Rios now reports that the SmackDown Superstar’s triceps tendon “was not torn from the bone as originally reported and will not require surgery.”
Due to the severity of Kennedy’s hematoma — a collection of blood within a tissue or organ — he is still not cleared to compete from a medical standpoint.
“He’s still vulnerable to injury and the arm remains badly swollen,” said Dr. Rios. “I’d expect him to be out of action for about six to eight weeks.”
Upon hearing the positive report, WWE.com caught up with the former Money in the Bank holder. Though clearly relieved, he’s already shifting his focus from a likely six months of recovery time to plotting his next move.
“This is great news for me; I don’t have a torn muscle,” Kennedy said. “But the good news for me is really, really bad news for Edge. He took something from me…took advantage of my unfortunate situation. Now he and everyone else have just a short amount of time to worry about what I’m going to do when I get back.”

That's great news and although I didn't want to see Ken turn face that soon, a Kennedy - Edge feud should be awesome.

GREAT NEWS indeed.
